Great locking gas cap for automotive security

I recently bought a locking fuel cap for my car and I'm glad I did. According to my experience, it's an excellent addition to any car with its sturdy build and secure fit. It keeps fuel safe from theft and tampering, providing peace of mind on long drives or when parked in public places. However, the only downside I see is that it can be a bit tricky to install for those who have never done it before. Overall, a great investment for car owners who value automotive security.

Great tank cap!

Very easy to open and close which I can't do with some other gas caps. When locked, the lid rotates to ensure it is in locking mode.

The locking mechanism is very weak.

Unlike the Stant brand caps I'm used to, this motorcycle cap has a very awkward locking mechanism that for some reason is quite difficult to snap open. It doesn't lock automatically after the cap is tightened like the Stant brand. This lid only locks when the key is turned and I've tried turning it both ways and sometimes it locks but most of the time it stays unlocked. I don't usually understand mechanical devices, so this confused me.
