Perfect fix for my broken gas cap on a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. I liked the feature where you can put in the car make and year and it tells you if it fits

The OEM gas cap strap broke about two months before I accidentally left it at a service station. The tether saves so many gas caps from being left behind and I knew I was going to end up losing it. This replacement was very easy to install and fits perfectly. I'm glad the rope is back!

Love everything about this new cap! It comes with everything you need to set it in and set it up, and it can also be thrown and tethered through the hole where the cord slides out of sight so it doesn't unravel and wrap around the lid, which usually causes it it breaks through some time of heat and cold and drying

Do you have CEL and EVAP errors? Start here first. This gas cap and code reader saved me hundreds of dollars. If your code reader is showing EVAP system errors, it makes sense to first try replacing the gas cap and turning off the CEL light to see if the old cap is bad. My cap didn't look bad, but that's how it was. This new cap fit perfectly and solved my problems.

What an advantage! This gas cap fits my 2008 Toyota Yaris. The gas cap came with a cable and a few small plastic screws to attach it to the gas cap. I didn't want a lockable gas cap because the gas cap is lockable and has a release latch in my car. My husband went to our local auto parts store and there the gas cap was almost $20. I would buy from this seller again and the gas cap I got from them is great! Thanks.

I give it 5 stars because it has everything you need to replace your old gas cap with this one. You just have to make sure it matches the old one you're recording. If, like me, you're replacing to fix a 'Check Engine Light', you have to keep in mind that sometimes you still have to call a mechanic to reset and clear that light. But after I did that, he never came back. I was finally able to pass the state exam.

The previous one on my 99 TJ (OEM) had a broken wire. Of course, I left it on the taillight when I finished refueling. When I discovered he was missing, I returned to the station but couldn't find him. I chose this one and I'm happy! Fits my TJ perfectly and the cable comes with different size push pins to suit the size you need to fit it to your car. The hole on mine was slightly enlarged so a large pin was much appreciated. Worked great for me.

Simple product, perfectly adapted to my car. After 15 years the cable on my Subaru Outback broke and a month later I lost my hat somewhere. A missing cover will cause the Check Engine light to illuminate (although there is a spring-loaded "cover" inside). The wiring harness is constructed the same as the OEM Suabru and the rivets provided are an exact replacement for the OEM version. Kudos to Motorad. . And after 2 days the CE light finally went out!
