🚗 Motorcraft BR49 Front Semi-Metallic Brake Pad Review

The pads were fine **BUT** they came with no mounting hardware. I assumed they would include new stainless steel hardware, but it's my fault for not confirming what the kit was.

Easy replacement. Takes about 5 minutes per side. No special tools are required. Be sure to squeeze the piston with large pliers before attempting to install new pads.

Great price, home delivery and they're Motorcraft. Fits perfectly on my Ford pickup. These are pads only, you need a silent disc brake (blue glue).

One of the brake pads was missing a skid plate and the others were detached. The pads were packaged in a sealed plastic wrap and standard brown box. These are clearly seconds from the factory. These pads did not pass quality control and should not have been sold. These brake pads will be returned as soon as possible. Attention buyers

I always try to use factory parts when I can, so here's the thing. The original pads have traveled almost 80,000 miles. Like them, the originals were made of semi-metal. Anyone who has ever posted a picture of this product is unfortunately an absolute layman in their job. You don't get a rotor or caliper. Talk about misrepresentations. As long as your truck uses BR49 pads (you can confirm this elsewhere on the web) this is what you need.
