does not erase car codes

This item installed fine but gave out code 402. After installing the rotorcraft model, the code immediately disappeared

Solved My Problems - Engines and Engine Parts

Works as advertised. VERY easy to install, it took longer to get the tools out of the tool cabinet, clean and put them back in place than replacing this part! Our 2000 Ford Expedition (also known as Stern Transport) is on the road again, and the woman is happy. As a note; Having an OBD II has been one of the best investments I've made in auto parts.

Small Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected Code P0442

This is the second component you should consider replacing with an evaporative emission system leak. Firstly, this is the gas cap, after which the Check Engine light did not go out. This one matches my original exactly, including the test port. Installation was quick and the Check Engine light did not come on after 5,000 miles on a 2003 Expedition XLT with 213,000 miles.

Pros
  • Rocker Arm
Cons
  • Some Trouble

Confused Solved for Engine Parts

Even though Revain has a great app that lets you know if an item fits your car, it has an extra piece of hose that doesn't fit my truck, so now I need to figure out how to connect it so there isn't a vacuum leak and I hope it works or I'll still have a truck that won't work! I'm changing my rating from 1 to 5 stars, I found it should be there and it's right for my truck. My truck crashed because of the mechanic.

Installation was very easy.

My 2004 Lincoln Navigator has a check engine light. The code was "Small Evaporator Leak" (P0456 I believe). Started replacing the gas cap but to no avail. That's why I ordered this part. Installation was super easy. Disconnect the negative battery terminal (to prevent igniting sparks from the fuel vapor hoses attached to this part). Loosen both bolts on the old block by about half. Disconnect the electrical wire, vacuum hose and both hoses going to the manifold. Completely unscrew the screws…
