Motorcraft FA 1912 A Air Element Review

This is the correct part that has replaced the original part. It was easy to install and I had no problems, it took me about 10 minutes to complete the task.

First time replacing the air filter on my new car so it was interesting to dig into the mounting points but once I saw how it all fitted together , the filter slipped right in .

The rubber part smells like a cross between a fish and a balloon. It was so smelly that I had to put the box it came in in a plastic bag and keep it sealed as best I could. I haven't used this filter, couldn't give it to friends or resell it, so it was a gift instead.

I have a 2019 Ford Edge ST and just replaced the factory filter with this one. This one looks the same and fits well BUT the part number is slightly different from the factory filter I just replaced. It also says Made in Mexico, not an original. But they look the same, the folds, the paper, the number of folds, the color of the paper, everything. So far so good, engine performance is the same. The filter at the dealer costs 3 times as much.
