🚗 Optimize Performance and Efficiency with Motorcraft FG872 Fuel Filter Review

Received. The item itself looks real. The original box it came in looks like it has been used many times. I hope the details are ok. If they don't have a problem, I don't care about the shape of the packaging. It's just that the box makes the part inside less practical.

I always try to use Motorcraft parts on my 1998 Ford F150. When I was looking for a fuel filter on the internet, I checked all the auto parts stores in the chain. I found this at Revain for about $4 less than stores. It was easy with free shipping. Filter fitted and fastened as expected. No problem.

I had some dirty gas and bought some Duralast filters which were half the price but didn't think they were as good, Motorcraft filters just worked better I am me not sure if Duralasts will clog faster on thinner or coarser media, but I was able to pick up on the bike where I hadn't been with the Duralast. 2002 Ford F350 5.4 Crew SRW 172.4" WB

The Motorcraft fuel filter is quite large but I bought it for my International Harvester tractor because the old glass filter kept breaking. I was hoping this block would be more durable and it is. It also has excellent flow capacity, allowing the motor to run at full voltage with ease. The only drawback is the size. This filter takes up three times the space of my previous one. However, with a few tweaks to the pipe, it fits well. I love it for its flow rate and strength.

Works perfectly as advertised and was a direct factory replacement for my Ford F250. You will need a fuel line quick release tool, a small drain pan, and disposable gloves for this job. Be sure to depressurize the fuel system before removing the old fuel filter. There will still be a small amount of fuel left in the old filter and fuel lines when you disconnect it, so I would recommend preparing a small container to catch anything that spills out without spilling the fuel on yourself or on the…

As for the fuel filter, this is the best. The only filter that fits perfectly. Makes the job very easy. If you are unsure, try a different brand. This will work, but the secondary clips will not match. It will be good, but not 100%. Just pick the right one, Motorcraft. I'm a Certified Ford Mechanic in Michigan and have made hundreds of these.
