Motorcraft WPT1045 Wiring Pigtail Kit Review

Only complaint is that I wish it had come with color coded wires other than it's a great wiring harness. Fits exactly to the Ford Explorer fuel pump.

After spending hundreds of dollars at a garage to no avail, I asked a neighbor to look at my car. Found a disconnected fuel pump connector. When ordering this fuel pump connector kit, it was easy to install everything you need to get your vehicle running again.

Used this pigtail to repair a fan clutch on a 2004 F350 6.0 Powerstroke. Precise fit after removing unused pins from connector. Connection plans are available online. The female end of the clutch harness was destroyed by the fan, which seems to be a common problem. This saved me from having to replace the entire expensive fan clutch.

I fitted my wife's Ford Taurus 01 with puddle lit mirrors and wired the car to make them work. As far as I can tell these connectors fit Taurus 99 through 07 mirrors and are great for my project. If you go to YouTube and search for "Add 2001 Ford Taurus puddle lamp wiring" you can see where I installed these connectors to ensure the puddle lamp works in the mirrors.

The connector is perfect for replacing the end coming out of the car, not the fuel pump end. However, the wires are a different color code than the original wiring, they are all the same colour, black, so you need to make sure you connect them correctly before putting the pump and tank back in place, this can be dangerous. when the cables are not properly connected or at least very frustrating and time consuming
