🍊 Orange Motorcycle Helmet Lock: Anti-Theft Security for YZF-R25 & YZF-R3, MT-25 & MT-03 up to 2020 Review

Great little helmet lock for 2018 Yamaha R3. Took about 5 minutes to install, looks neat on the bike. It also works well for keeping your helmet low and out of sight than a seat lock, and is much safer and more secure than simply leaving it hanging from the handlebars.

Installation was easy. I like that the screw that attaches the lock to the mount is protected by a latch when closed. However, the locking mechanism seems a little flimsy, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up if someone actually pulls on it. If you wanted to (and had a reasonably sized Allen key with you), you could just remove the strut completely. For the price, however, this offers much better protection against low-level attacks than leaving the helmet unprotected. want.

Installed in less than ten minutes (seven of those looking for my hex keys) and fits my 2017 R3 perfectly. Works better with my ringmount helmet (HJC) than my snap (LS2) but I just thread the hook through the straps between the buckle and the adjuster and it works great. After I installed it we started looking for them for other bikes but couldn't find them for these models (GS500F, SV1000S and CBR1000RR) but hopefully the product line will expand. 10/10 totally recommended.
