This Motorola microphone/speaker did not disappoint. I've used it in the rain and hot sun - it's really durable and seems well built. Very impressive.

On the first day in the field this speaker mic worked flawlessly. I used it with Motorola RMV2080. The clarity was very clear. I couldn't be happier with the way this device works.

I work in corporate security and we use this microphone and another one with a headphone jack. These microphones are rugged microphones for indoor and outdoor use, from industrial to residential, and in all weather conditions. I have purchased these several times at different times and they continue to work and remain reliable.

Robust microphone. Bought for use with Motorola DTR700 (fits/works). The speaker out isn't as loud as the radio out (minus one star) which is disappointing as I use it on a construction site where it can be quite loud at times and difficult to hear even with the mic attached to my life jacket. I would recommend it as it's still better than unplugging the radio every time I need to use it. The microphone was packaged in a flat brown box. A new one will appear, but who knows these days.
