3M Wall Adhesive Safe

Used the tapes that came with it and it was surprisingly strong. Just follow the wall mounting instructions. Otherwise, the biggest issue was winding the power cord inside the base.

Works perfect for me just with tape

I opted for tape instead of screws and it's very secure. I wish the black Nest Audio came with a black adapter/cable, but that's not a downside to the mount. The mount is perfect in my opinion.

The tape doesn't work, the bracket fell off

The tape included in the kit fell off after three weeks at the latest. I attached it as directed and allowed a few hours for the adhesive to set before reattaching the speaker. My wall is pretty flat so I don't think it's my fault. Luckily my Google Home speaker works, but I need to test it again. The only reason this is a 3 star rating is because the wall anchors that come with them are pretty good and I plan on using them. Do not use adhesive tape!

3M glue doesn't work.

dropped in about a week. And now I need to recolor the area. If you use this with a 3m crane, it will inevitably fall off. I did it the way it says in the instructions. Wait 1 hour before using the mount. It just fell out of nowhere. So if you don't use it to fix with screws, it will fall off. Just get another one that has a wire cover underneath.

Looks good, fell off

I installed this from the command line a little over 2 weeks ago because I'm renting. It seemed solid at first and I was pretty happy with it until yesterday the bracket started detaching from the top command bar. I pushed the bracket back, but later that day everything fell off the slats. The strips were still taped to the wall, so it looks like the weak point might be sticking to the bracket.
