I bought these brackets to support the bumper of my caravan. The bumper is welded in two places and I didn't think it would hold up with the bike rack I was planning to put on it. The struts were easy to install and added great support to the bumper. I have used a bike rack with no ill effects on the bumper. I rate Mount-n-Lock SafetyStruts Heavy Duty RV Bumper Mounts an A+!

Designed for frame or frame. Fits perfectly on the bumper and is probably the most superfluous thing I've put on an RV. I'm pretty sure I can now haul motocross bikes on my rear bumper. The only thing missing from the kit was a drill extension to get to the frame. I would suggest buying one so you have a straight square hole. I am very happy with this purchase.

The instructions are good and it took me a few hours to install this on our camper but once installed it works great. We've ridden my e-bike and the bumper-mounted spare tire for over 1,500 miles with no issues. It supports multiple installation options, so it took me a while to figure out the best installation option. Once I figured out what I needed, the included drill bit turned out to be exactly what I needed and everything snapped together with relative ease.

I would give 5 stars but after calling the company the answering machine only played ads with no option to leave a message. Then sent a message via the contact form, quickly received an automatic response, after a week had passed and no response, I decided to install, I made a mistake in the drilling process that could have been avoided with good customer service. After learning it the hard way, I managed to install everything correctly (as far as I can understand).

Very pleased to learn about this product. We recently bought a new Jayco TT that has a spare tire mounted on the rear bumper. I also wanted to add a bumper grille but was concerned about the extra weight. The only information I could find from my research is that the weight on the rear bumper should not exceed 100 pounds. So now by adding these supports my fears are gone! The sticks are no doubt well made and come with all the necessary components and a simple guide. Good product !

Item was dispatched and arrived in a few days although delivery would take 2 weeks. It appears to be very durable but does not conform to the dimensions advertised. . It fits my 4" bumper and has enough room. Actual inside measurements were 4 3/8". Plan on not lining up your holes even after using the marker drill unless you know how to prevent can't get the drill to slip when you drill. All the parts were included. Bought to reinforce the bumper of our caravan so we can carry our bikes in a bumper mounted bike rack. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I found that I had to use the washers that came with it and it was really difficult to get a good alignment and to mark where I needed to drill holes in the trailer frame. The pointed set screws that were supposed to be used to mark the holes weren't hard enough for the frame material and didn't give a good impression to see where to drill. So I…

Completed the installation today as extra insurance on our caravan. There are no visible cracks in the welds on our bumper, but since we have both the spare tire and bike rack hanging from it, we thought we'd just do that for extra security. The installation is pretty easy and the instructions are clear enough. I installed this item with standoffs due to the I-beam construction of my Coachmen trailer. When I received the item I was VERY impressed with the packaging! Probably the best packaging of any Revain item I've bought in a long time. Everything was in the 'correct' box, tightly wrapped in plastic, and nothing was damaged, including the box, which is commendable for such a heavy item.
