Easy installation. A necessary adapter to upgrade the front rotor from 160mm to 203mm. This post mount adapter mounts perfectly to the fork - no size/clearance issues with my RockShox Recon fork. This adapter is not the type of adapter that requires mounting screws to attach to the side connector.

This adapter will work if your fork/frame has a 160mm disc mount and you are trying to upgrade to 203mm discs. Try upgrading to 203mm rotors. The adapter itself is very well made and comes with screws but the description is deceiving and looks like it was made on purpose to get people to order the part. The adapter worked well and appeared to be of good quality. It fitted the bike well and the match between the caliper and pads was perfect. I had another adapter from another company that said it was the same size but the pads only made contact with the pad material half way so I bought that and it was fixed. I will recommend and buy again.

Works great with a Rockshox Judy fork and 200mm rotor. Essentially, this spacer adds 20mm of offset from the axle to the caliper. So if the minimum rotor diameter for your fork is 160 and your rotor is 200, this product will work. I don't see how going from 160 to 180 or 180 to 200 would work. You need 4 bolts - 2 to attach the spacer to the fork and 2 more to attach the caliper to the spacer. No screws were supplied with this product. I deduct 1 star for that. I have an upside down fork with Tektro E-Comp brakes. This is an adapter that extends the flat fork mount by 40mm and allows you to convert from a 160mm front rotor to a 203mm front rotor. Today I put Tektro 203mm rotors on the bike and just slammed on the brakes and it works great. I am satisfied with this product. It's confusing from the description but I hope it helps.
