Finding the right height for your TV in relation to the mount can be a bit tricky, but that goes for any mount. It's a great mount and the fact that you can move it 6 inches to either side was a huge life saver as my studs are not centered exactly where I wanted to mount the TV in my living room.

Best TV mount I have ever bought. Depending on where I needed to mount my TV on the wall I had to find something that could be adjusted left or right when lifting as the studs are on the wall and that makes things easier. Once in place, it can be adjusted in different directions to align, move up/down and/or left/right. Very durable. I would definitely buy it again!

My Plasma TV meets the stated weight and size requirements (42 inch TV). The hooks on the TV panel are not fully seated on the wall brackets. A (really? just one) screw terminal at each end, attached to the very tip of each side. I don't feel safe around this TV. The wall mount tubes need to be longer and solid, not four. This does not work as advertised, end of story.

Second assembly Dream installation. Very well made and does what it's supposed to. Just follow the instructions. I ran into a small snag as my posts were over 16" centered so I had to order extension brackets. Therefore, be sure to measure the distance between the racks in which the installation will take place. My mistake is that I assumed the wall studs were 16" center like they are in other parts of my home, hence the 4 star rating in the easy to install section. Much luck.

While searching for TV mounts I came across an article that mentioned preparation before ordering the mount and before starting the installation process. It was a good post and very helpful. I was able to find that I could use the 16" mount (I don't need the longer 24" version), but I need a model that slides left or right. This device moves 6 inches in each direction. The device is very solid and allows for all the customizations I was hoping for. I used if for a 50" TV. The only suggestion is
