This is a solid wall mount. I bought it because it only slides out a few inches to allow access to the TV's inputs and outputs. Too often I've had to remove the TV because I needed to add a cable or change the input. This mount allows you to pull the TV out far enough to gain access. The tilt function is also good.

I would never look for any other brand of TV mount. I installed two from this brand and they were both the easiest to install and work great. I've installed many other mounts and none have been as easy or worked better than this one. I used it to mount an 82 inch Samsung TV that weighs 95.5 pounds. This made me a little nervous because it's close to the rated weight limit. However, there were no issues or signs that it was too heavy for this mount.

This was my third wall mount so not my first rodeo. The instructions are great and it was very easy to get up against the wall and get ready for my 45lb 65" TV. It came with a great template that made it easy to choose the right wall stand. Also, it came with its own little level - which was great. I confess I tested it at a very expensive level and it was right. I don't think anyone will be disappointed - the extra space for outlets, cords and a possible HDMI cable made installation easy. This mount's little expansion feature is fantastic. This makes it much easier to make all the necessary connections once the TV is installed. Without this I wouldn't have been able to connect in my case unless I took the risk and just cranked the TV up on the top hooks. I hate doing this with something this expensive, so it was nice to see the option to move the screen away from the wall a bit. I knew it was a good thing to buy and it was pretty tolerable. The stone slab lies flat over the concrete block. With that in mind, I hung this mount using brute force (eight mounting points, four of which are designed to fail). Then I "tested" our setup before my son and I hung the 50 inch TV. What I like about the MD2104 is that it's easy to mount, brackets that match the TV are easy to attach if you have the right screws. My big problem is that their TV mounting screws are useless. They were either too thin or too short or too long even with plastic spacers. I had to buy screws from Home Depot with some washers and it was perfect.
