Flimsy and unreliable nail assortment

The MR ALLOY assortment in Nails category under Screws & Fasteners in Tools and Home Improvement is a poor choice for any DIY project... My analysis OF this product showed that the nails were extremely flimsy and weak easily bending or breaking on even the slightest pressure. While the assortment had a nice variety of sizes, none of the nails were reliable enough to hold even light weight objects..

Pros
  • Good variety of sizes.
Cons
  • Weak and easily breakable.

Exactly what my 3D printer needs

I've just started using a new 3D printer and many of the improvements to the printer have included attaching it to the aluminum frame of a 20x20 or 20x40 printer. These dowels go into the holes in the frame and use a metric screw to press the nozzle against the frame. I tried to print some on a plastic filament printer which is NOT strong enough to support any weight. These anchors seem to do the job well and are sized to fit my printer frame.

Pros
  • Material: nickel plated carbon steel. Corrosion resistance, no rust.
Cons
  • Out of fashion
