Highly inconsistent grinder loses grind, resulting in weak coffee

Highly inconsistent grinder, grind levels vary widely. Allows the percolator to overflow due to too fine grinding and very coarse grinding and leads to wasted coffee. The coffee is also very weak, which I put down to a too coarse grind. On the counter under the coffee grinder we constantly found garbage and could not understand why, in the end I realized that the coffee grinder dumps part of the crumbs into the base (where the motor was) and not into the container for collecting them, and these

Pros
  • STAINLESS STEEL FINISH: Modern stainless steel finish enhances any kitchen
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great price for a grinder, but you get what you pay for

I waited a while after purchasing this product before reviewing it because I wanted to see how it would perform over time. I've been using it every day for almost a year now and I think I can say with confidence that it's worth buying, but with some caveats. First the "pros": The price is amazing - it's only about $5. bigger than a cheap knife grinder and requires significantly less work (important in pre-caffeinated state). The hopper holds about half a pound of beans and acts as a good buffer

Pros
  • BEAN HOPPER: Large bean hopper holds up to 8 oz. Coffee beans and removed for easy cleaning
Cons
  • Quality

Lasted only 15 months

Coffee grinder stopped working after 15 months of abuse. It does not continue to work after the button is pressed, but behaves in pulse mode, as a food processor can. a rep who graciously offers me a two dollar discount and free shipping on my next purchase - ha! I asked to speak to the manager and was told someone would call me back because they were having a long conversation that was distracting. OK? Nobody called me back. When the coffee grinder is working, it is doing its job. However, it…

Grind good coffee!

My daughter is a barista at Starbucks so we get a lot of free coffee beans and our old coffee grinder just wouldn't grind them. I wanted something that would allow us to grind large numbers of grains at once and give us control over how we grind them. Burr grinder Mr. Coffee was just what we needed and at a price that was spot on. We've been using it for a few months now and are very happy with it. With this grinder we have the possibility to control the degree of grinding of the coffee, which…

Small coffee grinder for a price-conscious barista.Updated: 03/01/2017. After almost a year of continuous use, this coffee grinder is still running at full speed. I'm so glad I missed out on buying Breville. Not so much against Breville as confirmation that this grinder is all I need. The Breville would be overkill if it worked fantastically with my DeLonghi portafilter espresso maker and my Black and Decker coffee maker. My son and I drink coffee regularly, so we light it up several times a…
