Works with two hands so I had to help a preschooler. There is no suction to hold it. It's easy to clean and the sharpener works well once the pencil is in.

Very disappointed that it has already been used with pencil stains and shavings inside. When I purchase a product, I expect it to be in like-new, unused, or like-new condition.

It's so cute! It is small but suitable for small children. My kids love it but it partially fell off and broke within 1 month. He couldn't hold a pencil anymore. The shaving box is small and a little difficult to pull out. My 6 year old son often spilled shavings when pulling out the box.

Well the point is you insert the pen all the way into the sharpened hole and then hold it there (maybe there is a clip? I dont know ). You can then hold the sharpener with one hand and turn the handle with the other until the sharpening sound changes. Makes a nice sharp point, light weight, easy to use and very cute. Absolutely exceeded my expectations!
