This cap and rotor have only given problems from day one, this is the position that causes ringing and misfiring and the rotor will not seat properly. coverage is the problem. I suspect it's fake or msd just sucks. Chevrolet Tahoe 1999 5.7L. I will never buy a distributor cap from Amazon again.
