hard as a nail on distributors and parts

This was used to replace the one that has put in 175,000 hard miles. I would never use another cap again. In combination with the Mitsubishi optical module and a good bearing, this results in an excellent Optispark.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Was very disappointed and sent it back with nothing inside.

Was very disappointed and sent it back, it doesn't have any of the internal functional parts like Optisensor, you have to install it yourself, not recommended πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

Works perfectly. Cover and disc kit included

Fits a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Wagon. Worked perfectly. It's been a few months now and the machine is still fine. The car has 241,000 miles. I replaced the original with a GM unit in 2006 when it had 100,000 miles along with spark plugs and wires. It had expired on spark plugs and wires, and it was decided to replace the cap and rotor. They are definitely worn out after opening. It seems to be working as it should.

Started on first try with no CEL

I installed this distributor on my '96 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. I first bought an MSD distributor cap and rotor kit but quickly found that it was best not to rebuild the old Opti-Spark module. It is very difficult to get to a dealer with these LT1s and I wanted to eliminate any possibility of rejection. I put this new distributor in and haven't had any problems with a few hundred miles so far. The engine started on the first try with no need to adjust the valve timing. Good quality…

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • I won't tell
