It's impossible to use it, don't waste your money.

I collect computers from my student days :) This mom is a champion, she burned out the most of my nerve cells. After I set the memory timings and the machine did not start, I began to look for documentation. And then it turned out that: - there is no documentation included with the PRO board. - MSI website does not work on the phone. No, it shows something, but you can't get the documentation on the phone. - the MSI website was written by brake goths - red letters on a black background and…

Pros
  • Standard motherboard for a home computer. Relatively low price.
Cons
  • The RAM setup trial system does not work. If you set the timings incorrectly, reset the CMOS. How to reset CMOS - read the documentation. Documentation is not included. A small piece of paper in a box does not count. This is not documentation. I'm used to that PRO (professional) equipment comes with detailed documentation. Saved on paper here.

Totally disappointed, product is terrible.

If you love roulette - take it. And so in the low price range, I advise you to abandon MSI, whether it's B550 or X570 Here are the detailed characteristics of all motherboards on AM4: I do not advise saving and taking Tier IV Got pros: - Good power system for this price (5+5 CPUs / 2 SoCs). On many motherboards, even on the seemingly older MSI X570-A PRO, it costs 4 + 4 on a CPU with the same components. - Proprietary MSI utilities Has cons: - A huge amount of marriage. Very stable and efficient motherboard for Ryzen 5000 series

From my point of view, this motherboard offers excellent value for money without compromise. It has everything you need like USB-C Gen 3.2, USB headers, NVMe dual drive support, DP, HDMI, decent audio chip (if you still use it), great 10-phase VRM with a good one heatsink. Also a good NVMe drive layout with no heat dissipation from the graphics card like some motherboards. I paired this MSI B550-A PRO board with Ryzen 9 5900x, 16GB Crucial 3600, Crucial P5 NVMe drive, MSI RX550 4GB graphics…

Pros
  • Flash BIOS button allows users to flash BIOS even without CPU or memory
Cons
  • Compatibility

Great motherboard, works with Ryzen 7 5800X

I got this as part of a Ryzen 7 I made -Builds selected and it works great, highly recommended. Paired with: MSI B550-A PROAMD Ryzen 7 5800XCrucial Ballistix DDR4 RAMCorsair CX Series 550W PSCooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler dies. Installation was easy and straightforward. The BIOS setup was easy. The only problem I had was that after I created the system and started Ubuntu, I had intermittent problems with the keyboard - "sticky" keys, no response, etc. It happened like in Windows, same…

Pros
  • Powerful design: Core Boost, Digital PWM IC, 2oz thick copper PCB, Creator Genie, DDR4 Boost
Cons
  • So far so good

Good features and good price, poor quality control and complicated BIOS

Figuring out the BIOS was difficult, especially if you want to run 3600 , which is the first thing you should do after a build, as the RAM doesn't automatically sync to its rated maximum speed. QC on mine seems to have lost the USB-C type and network connector, which is placed slightly inward on the top and bottom connectors on the board. So when I/O screen ID is enabled there is more room in front of it than for audio and USB 2.0/HDMI/dp ports which prevent the network cable from snapping so…

Pros
  • Core Boost technology combines optimized power circuits and digital power control to provide accurate and stable current to the CPU
Cons
  • Not bad

Great motherboard, works with Ryzen 7 5800X

Choose this as part of a Ryzen 7 I did the build and it works great, highly recommend. The only problem I had was that after I created the system and started Ubuntu, I had intermittent problems with the keyboard - "sticky" keys, no response, etc. It happened like in Windows, same as in Windows.

Pros
  • Lightning Speed Gaming: PCIe 4.0, Lightning Gen 4 M.2 with M.2 Shield Frozr, AMD Turbo USB 3.2 GEN 2
Cons
  • No form required

The board was pre-flashed for my use of Ryzen 5, 5600x processor, no firmware needed to be flashed to make it work. Admittedly, it was my fault for not knowing that this board didn't have an S/PDIF (optical audio) connector, but in my defense, for the price, this board should have come with a connector like gigabyte boards and asrock of similar Quality. and the price goes with one. In hindsight, I should have paid about $20 extra back then and gotten the same model motherboard with an S/PDIF…

Pros
  • Supports up to 128GB (4400MHz) dual channel DDR4 memory
Cons
  • Approximately
