Works exactly as advertised

I use this to switch between two laptops and an Xbox. It took about 15 minutes to set everything up. I have a TV, a wireless keyboard and mouse combo (plugged into the mouse jack), and a 7-port USB hub plugged into the extra USB jack. One touch and in a few seconds I have full access to all accessories. One feature that surprised me is that when you turn on one of the laptops, it automatically switches to that laptop. Since I usually leave my personal laptop in sleep mode while I work and turn…

Great customer service

My setup consists of two laptops sharing a keyboard and mouse and a large second monitor for my elderly eyes. I'm planning on installing a Raspberry Pi to play around with. My old VGA USB KVM switch had four very bulky cables, and the USB was dodgy and required a Bill Gates solution (unplug and reboot) every now and then. The switch was a progressive type that required going through the connections one at a time with the base out of sight and knowing which connection I was using was a bit of a…

Is working. but the screen jumps

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with this product. I've had KVMs before and this is the only one that makes the screens jump. I have 2 desktops connected, a laptop pc and a mac. They all connect, no problem toggling back and forth, I like the 4 button control panel. My problem is with my main desktop, which has two displays in extended desktop mode. Whenever I use KVM to switch to another computer, the main desktop screens jump to the other as if the main desktop thinks it only has one…

Do Not Buy This Item For Computer Components

I Thought It Was Too Good To Be True And It Is. I didn't need anything fancy, just something that would help speed up the setup of four computers at once. I've found that the mouse and keyboard only work on the first two computers that are powered on. The second two show a "Keyboard" error message from the BIOS, and neither the keyboard nor the mouse will work unless they're plugged directly into the computer, defeating the whole purpose of having them. The same thing happens when I connect the

I like the 4 buttons next to the keyboard

In my case 3 laptops are connected to the switch. It works fine most of the time, but there are times when I'm switching between my laptops and my keyboard locks up (all the lights come on). Where do I have to disconnect and reconnect it to make it work? Sometimes when I switch from one laptop to another, the keyboard doesn't work, I can't type. I need to switch to the previous laptop and back to the one I want to work on. Also annoying is that I have one of the laptops with two external…

Works perfectly! Except USB is a bit shorter for some laptops.

Works like a charm The only problem I had was that the USB pigtail was too short, I have HDMI on one side of the laptop and USB on the other. Otherwise I would have kept it. I didn't want to plug in a longer cable or get an extension cord as that defeats the purpose. I liked how the USB and HDMI were grouped in one row, which made routing very clean. I had to use a competitor's KVM because the USB cables were longer BUT separate. What I also liked is that there is a control box so you can throw
