This item has a shelf life of 5 years from the date of manufacture, after which it must be replaced. The one I received was already a year old which meant it had to be replaced after only 4 years. The item has been returned for a refund.

Even though it's there, the price is ridiculous. This was a replacement for my 17 year old model in my Lance camper and only took 5 minutes to install.

I've had this item for a few weeks now; however could not install until last weekend. This is an exact replica of the obsolete one in my camper and matches the original opening perfectly. I hope it never activates for me, but it's nice to know it's working and running should I need to get it to sound.

Actual color is slightly darker than photo. Easy to install as this one fits in my old 4"x3" cutout. Apart from the fact that the color is slightly different, everything is fine.
