terrible fuel pump kit

Put the pump in the tank and the pump will not work. I bought a much better kit from the parts store with schematic, everything worked fine. only $5 more

Pros
  • Materials: Made of high quality and durable material that meets OE standard
Cons
  • Reliability

Only lasted a year.

year worked fine and changed a little then all of a sudden mine my car went out while driving last week. In my heart I knew immediately what it was. Hauled it to my favorite local store and boom. The fuel pump is dead. Honestly, save your money and get something a little more expensive. In the long run you will be grateful.

Pros
  • Fitment: 2000-2005 Buick Lesabre V6 3.8L Vin Code K 1998-2005 Buick Park Avenue V6 3.8L Vin Code K 2000-2005 Cadillac Deville V8 4.6L Vin Code 9Y 1998-2004 Cadillac Seville V8 4.6L Vin Code 9 , Year 2001-2002 Oldsmobile Aurora V6 3.5L Vin Code H 1998-1999; 2001-2003 Oldsmobile Aurora V8 4.0L Vin Code C 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville V6 3.8L Vin Code K 2004-2005 Pontiac Bonneville V8 4.6L Vin Code Y
Cons
  • Negative present

NO ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAM INCLUDED

There is no wiring diagram to tell which wire goes with which color as the wire harness is a different color than the one on my car. I tried searching the internet for help setting the wire color code but all I found was other poor souls like me wondering which wire goes where? Next time I'll pay a little more and buy something plug and play.

Pros
  • We promise we will send a replacement within 1 year if there is any damage.
Cons
  • Little things

Huge hassle to install

Final assembly is complete, standard wiring connector that came with the kit was a terrible mess to install . My 2002 Seville has an opening to replace the pump, but the space you have to work in is small. Having to re-solder the connector (with no diagrams or instructions) is not for the faint of heart. If the wiring is wrong it will spark, and considering it's in the fuel tank, think twice before trying. Find a pump that is designed to be "plug and play”. I would not recommend it for this…

Pros
  • What's in the box: 1 set of pre-lubricated/tested fuel pump module assembly What's in the box: 1* Fuel pump 1* Strainers 1* Float lever 3* Tank seal harness
Cons
  • Modern
