It is easy to assemble, although the instructions are not very good.

At first I wasn't sure I could do it, but I took a deep breath, re-read the instructions and did it. Holding it next to the clock, I already had to make sure the hands were moving at the right speed, and it did. Easy to assemble, although the instructions aren't great, each hand rests directly on the plastic piece that matches the size of the whole. It sounds strange, but you'll understand when you see it one by one.

Superb quality of watch hardware

I was impressed with the quality of this movement and the hands that it came with. I didn't use the arms for my project because they were too big and I 3D printed my own to match the design. I will definitely use the hands in another project. I like the built in hanger, it would have been great for a center mounted clock but mine was misaligned. So I had to design/3D print a proper hanger and leg to ensure the clock would sit flat against the wall.

A good movement is not a very good workmanship of the hands.

About what was expected. The clock hands are covered with vinyl, not paint. The vinyl has partially detached from the metal in the packaging. Painted hands would have been better. I chose this replacement movement because the hands most closely matched the original watch. Due to the different shaft diameters, the original arrows cannot be reused. When the vinyl stops tearing, the hands need to be varnished.

Large selection all with slight differences

This motor watch was the second I had to buy as stem length is critical and not yet clearly defined by some brands. They all seem to be from Japan and the units don't meet US standards and aren't even properly defined on some brands. Note that none of the specifications state that all of these motors, powered by a single AA battery, will stop working unless the battery is replaced when its voltage drops. My block was a spare. - I didn't follow the new battery rule when switching to daylight…

The clock motor worked normally; Be aware of key items before ordering

No problems with this item; worked as advertised; easy to install. However, if you are replacing an existing movement, keep the following in mind: 1) If you want to reuse the hour and minute hands of your existing watch face (who wouldn't - they were designed to fit!) - some motors have a round shaft for the hour and minute hands, and some have a round one for the hour hand and an oblong/slotted one for the minute hand. There may be other combinations, but now I see from the photos on the web…
