This coffee maker is very practical, does not take up much space, makes excellent coffee and above all keeps it hot. Most coffee makers, after brewing the coffee, taste like it has sat for hours and is cold. Not this one.

I'm so excited! My Keurig kind of died and I bought this coffee pot on a friend's recommendation. It works so well! I like the simplicity of the machine and the presence of a permanent filter. My daughters and I are working to reduce our footprint with these simple things. And also. it is also quite attractive! I love the way it looks and my coffee is perfect!

If you like freshly brewed warm coffee then this is for you. After the coffee is brewed, the machine will turn off automatically to keep the heating plate from heating up to heat it up a little more. Thing is back! Not only is the coffee lukewarm, but the design of the carafe is awkward, difficult to pour and impossible to clean. It's hard to tell if the coffee tastes good as I can't get around the temperature issue. Very disappointed.

Bought last week. Have used it twice already. The brew cycle stops and both times it goes off halfway through and I have to turn it back on. Also, the coffee is cold and the stainless steel carafe is unusable as the water heating element seems crappy/faulty. Another important note: this coffee maker doesn't have a pot warmer either, which would be nice as it would at least allow the pot to heat up AFTER the brewing process is complete. This is my first coffee maker (yes really!) I've been using a brew for years but it does the job for everyone and keeps the temperature too, e.g. that wonderful second cup. I like the built in filter (hooray, no mess now) and the simplicity of the device itself. It's neutral and compact and I can make ten cups. I like tea too, so I tried making tea out of it. Well it's a good coffee maker, better than some. Brews well. But I absolutely hate the process of adding water! The lid of the water tank does NOT open far enough and therefore when pouring the water from the carafe it is IMPOSSIBLE not to spill the water all over the pitcher and leave the water in the carafe itself. It definitely does what it says on the packaging. Easy to use, pretty easy to clean, I like the taste of coffee. This is our first thermograph and I don't know why we used glass before. It is brewed directly in a sealed pot and then stays hot for hours. Even HALF the pot was still warm enough to drink after five hours. I had high hopes for this coffee maker. I am a big fan of Müller products. I got it for free but I can't give it more than 1 star. I received the product and used it for 4 days before something broke and rendered it unusable. The spring that pushes the top of the carafe to let the coffee in broke off when I dropped the basket (tried to fix it but couldn't). You can see in the photo I took. I don't know where people live who say it makes hot coffee, but in Michigan winters my thermostat goes down to 65 at night so the kettle gets cold.
