🔥 Muffler Glasspack 1.75" Inlet/Outlet - High Performance Exhaust System, 14" Overall Length Review

I used this to make an exhaust system for my lawn mower. It worked like a charm. I had to weld it to the part that had come loose from the mower's engine manifold, but it was a lot less than buying the original muffler for over $260. I am very happy with the sound. I would like it to be quieter but not louder than the factory.

It would be a home run if it did. The "holes" in the can were cut out at the factory. The photo shows that none of them are open. I made a "tool" out of an awl and a piece of rebar that could reach all the dimples and hammer a hole there. I read a review that said these "mufflers" didn't do anything about the exhaust rumble. My money says it's because all the holes were sealed, just like mine. If I just wanted a pipe instead of a muffler I wouldn't order them.

The product itself is of excellent quality. Really no complaints. My main complaint is that the side clearly states a 1 3/4" ID for the inlet and outlet. Mine showed up with big, ugly paper labels on the side that also said they were 1 3/4" on both ends "ID were. However, after measuring the pipes themselves, they were found to have an inside diameter of 1 7/8 inches, making their installation a fabrication project. The point is the product is ok but good luck getting what you pay for.

I replaced the muffler on my 2002 Honda CRV with an aftermarket Rock Auto muffler and it didn't even last two years. Out of curiosity, I measured the OD of the pipe that went from the resonator to the muffler and found this double glazed unit on the Revain that fitted. Added exhaust pipe - problem solved for very little money. Remember you must have a car with an intake resonator as this is louder than a standard muffler and this alone can be too loud for general use and inspection.
