Good warming bag for live plants

Great warming bag. I wouldn't have shipped my fish and shrimp without them! The 72 hours are not as hot as those with less time limits. I like it because little ones can get very hot.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Crumpled

Do Not Recommend

I would not recommend these thermal packs at all. I bought these to keep my lizard warm on a 9 hour car ride. I tested a day before and I'm so glad I did. They almost didn't heat up, and it was clearly not warm enough for winter driving. We had to buy hand warmers and use them instead. Unfortunately it was a waste of money if you are transporting a lizard just use hand warmers or a heating pad.

  • Ease of Use

Thermopack delivers!

This product was easy to use and worked great when I recently had to travel and bring a leopard gecko with me. Of course he wasn't impressed by the 7 hour one way drive, but he had the warmth he needed to travel safely. I built him a travel house out of a large cricket bag, lined the bottom with a soft towel, and attached a paper-wrapped thermal bag to the outside bottom. Went like clockwork.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Very efficient in transporting plants.

They do exactly what they say. Read the directions and make sure there is a barrier between plants and heat packs. A tip: If you're shipping in freezing weather, pack a box with plants and heat packs and seal it. Then place it in a large box filled with newspaper and a few more heat packs. It's for extreme weather, but it almost guarantees they'll get there safely.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Has been corrupted

Shelf life!: Fish & aquatic animals

I sent 3 out of 5 packs of plants. Due to a snow storm, it took almost a day longer than the package duration of 72 hours for the plants to arrive, but the packages were still warm and the plants were well protected. I should note that I used 3 in a box and I probably should have added 1 more just to be on the safe side, but with more packaging or some other reason this worked great! I would buy them again and probably soon! Excellent goods!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Will not withstand temperatures below 25F

I was on vacation in KC and bought some plants to send home. I ordered them, packed all 5 in a box (one on each side and one at the bottom), carefully filled the box with my plants, and then shipped them same day via UPS within 2 days. When the package came home, I opened it and the flower pots were very cold! I don't feel the packs lasted the 72 hours they claim, but all my plants are alive (with some cold damage) so they did the job, at least partially. Be careful using these packs when the…
