Job Done - Drill

I'm just an old girl with an impact wrench. For them to be really effective, I think you need a concrete drill. Overall a good price and they don't break easily which is good as most bits will bounce and break.

Pros
  • Hex shank allows for use in impact tools and impact drills/screwdrivers for a good grip on the drill
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Worst masonry!

These drill bits were bought to drill into brick. The first stone took over 30 minutes to drill a 1.25 inch deep hole with a hammer drill. The tip of the second stone broke after about 1/2 inch (see picture). I then bought a Bosch Diamond Ground Carbide Tip masonry drill bit and it was done in less than 20 seconds. As such, I would not recommend these drill bits for drilling into brick. Very disappointed with the quality and finish of these bits.

Pros
  • Sharp, multi-pointed edges provide high drilling speed even in hard materials, works 85% faster in a variety of materials than standard drill bits
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
