It works, but the delay depends on the class of the power supply.

This was my second attempt to find an "add2psu" adapter to turn 2 power supplies on and off at the same time. When using two EVGA G2 1600W PSUs I didn't notice any significant lag. Strangely, there was a slight lag when using two EVGA T2 1600W PSUs. These adapters are powered by a 4-pin Molex adapter. Maybe a millisecond latency when used with T2s, but nothing compared to the 1 second latency I had with the Genetek Sata powered adapters I bought from PMU Products. All in all a good product that

Connection method: Internal power supplies

Primary power supply (or secondary to third) uses Molex connector, secondary power supply uses motherboard connector. Make sure all adapters get the same power source as the GPU.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Infinitely slow-moving

Ideal! Internals

An easy way to add more than 2 power supplies to your setup. Or you can even use it for a monster gaming PC if you don't want to shell out a huge power bank. Works exactly how you think.

Turned on, not properly turned off.

For some reason my second power supply doesn't turn off with the first one which is very annoying. I can swap out the adapters and see if it's just the one I tried first. Update: Tried a second adapter with the same result, turning off my main PSU didn't turn off the secondary either, which tells me that once turned on, this board keeps the second PSU running until you manually disconnect it. Super annoying.
