Strong, durable and very economical

We bought this tarp to cover our pool when we were cutting very heavy overhanging branches from large oak trees and there was too much pool cover. This tarp withstood those branches and didn't even snap. It was recommended by our roofing company who also uses it.

Incredibly thin, slightly less than its price

I saw through a fingernail, through a tarp. Absolutely not overwhelmed. Not even an average load. Surprisingly thin. The purpose I am using it for requires it to hold 6 pounds evenly distributed which is why it got 3 stars because it still barely suits me. May only be advertised as a light tarpaulin at most.

Pros
  • GOLS certified

  • Some cons

Not as heavy as I thought

Not exactly sure how heavy they should be, but they seem about half as strong as I'm used to or expected. I bought these to cover patio furniture but they are so light I didn't think they would hold up no matter how tightly I tied them down. I later used them to protect the inside of my grooming when picking up dirty items from the home center and they were great for that type of application.

For single use, it is enough for a long time - secondary

Grommets are not reinforced, with practical wind loads, the grommets are cut off. The sleeves will also tear if enough water is left on the surface of the tarpaulin. It's airtight, anything but airtight. The coverage area is sufficient for local protection of the roof, but should preferably be used when there is no wind. For the price range, this is handy for a homeowner but not ideal for commercial work.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Good, but not excellent

Good tarp for the price (Updated 2/10/2020)

Does the job. The tarpaulin was good for the price. The stitching is strong, the stitching is reliable. My only complaint is that it's not as thick as I was hoping. Haven't used it for a very long time so we'll see how it holds up. Update 02/10/2020: The tarpaulin does not hold up well. The material faded after just a month of exposure. The tarpaulin tore as the material weakened and water was able to penetrate. After just a few months, the tarpaulin no longer serves its purpose.

  • This is amazing

Super thin and perforated

Well I'm doing a project in my garden and need a tarp to cover it during the coming downpour. Stopped here based on the reviews. Well that was a mistake. We just opened it up and found numerous holes in it and places where the material was so thin you could almost see through it. See my attached photos. The photo shows different holes. There were others but you get the idea. I understand products are sometimes defective, so I may have just received one. But this tarpaulin is very thin, I'm notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Sorry, false advertising.

We had to move our carpentry shop out of state and decided to ship the tarp to a new location before moving. We knew we were going to be late and needed these tarps to protect the gear for about a week while we remodeled the workshop. We arrived at 1am in the pouring rain to find these flimsy, flimsy, almost see-through tarps waiting for us. I would measure the thickness with a micrometer if I had one with me, but if this tarp was thicker than 2 mils I would be shocked. I have a cheap blue 3x3โ€ฆ

Pros
