Amazing quality genuine leather! I am a leather craftsman and I am sure that this leather is the best genuine cowhide leather. The description was spot on. It has high luster and you can see the natural texture of the skin, it is comfortable to the touch, it is very suitable for making bags, shoes, book covers, etc. There are no scars on the surface, and the size is correct, i will buy this product again. I love it!

This is a nice leather and not too rough on the bottom (flesh side) but I would recommend it depending on what you are going to do with it. I was very good at cutting it with a knife, but I couldn't shape or stretch it. I managed to sand and finish the edges well. I was able to get deep stamps with it, but not much polished color with stamps. I have to think about what to use it for next time.

This product is a COLLABORATION if you actually measure it and need a specific thickness. It is NOT 5-6 oz. 5 ounces is at least 1.98. The skin I received weighs 4-5 ounces. So it should have been cheaper. I want what I paid for. It's also very rough on the back, not at all like other quality leathers I've bought. I want a full refund or what I ordered in leather at least 2-2.4mm thick.

I received a perfect 1 x 2 foot sample: no stains, scars or creases, all the same color; cream leather. My use is very simple, I put it on a dresser where I put my wallet and keys every day just to protect the furniture. This company sells perfection and no surprises, not just a piece of leather. One of the two I bought in one order turned out to have a long, deep (almost piercing) Phillips slot on the back. I tried to get a spare 12x12 (I'm not greedy - a 12x12 would easily replace the damaged area) but Revain didn't have it. Bought 10 packs of 5-6 oz. The sheets are 12 x 24 inches and I have used 5 so far. At the moment they are all the correct measurements (12' x 24'). Thickness averages 2.1mm with a range of 1.9 to 2.3, but the vast majority are in the 2.1 to 2.3 range. So no complaints. there. I wet modeled each piece and had no problems. (Photo attached.)
