Loudspeaker connections go bad quickly!

Ours is only a few months old and the speaker connection is bad. This will short out our speakers. I would not recommend this turntable

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Good but not great

Very happy with this purchase

Very happy with this purchase. Excellent sound and great looks. I hesitated between this and the Audio Technica AT-LP120 and am glad I chose the Music Hall MMF-1.3. AT has more functionality, but MMF-1.3 sounds better.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Nice turntable

I haven't had a turntable in a long time. I got this and had to ask a friend to help me install it as it's not ready to play. The instructions aren't the best, but the turntable game is excellent. I love playing this vinyl. I tried to stay under 200 but am very glad I spent the extra 75.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • It's hard to remember, but it was

Awesome turbtable!: Turntables & Accessories

This is a great turntable, more or less plug and play with a built in preamp. Sounds good! I like the weighted arm as it has the correct cartridge pressure and doesn't wear down the vinyl as quickly as cheaper turntables. Just a note for beginners, you either need an amplifier to plug it in and then move on to passive speakers, or you need powered speakers to just plug in and play.

Small trailer, big sound

Great TT. I bought one for my sons for their 17th birthday. He immediately noticed that it was more musical than his old MCS. Just as loud and clear. We don't use a preamp, but it's a nice feature. Pair this table with a good vintage amp and it will sound fantastic. In the TT world, it's small money but big sound, and it's factory tuned. So it's plug and play and won't destroy your records, what's the top consideration?

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • No instructions

Take it. That's a good player.

A good turntable for music lovers but not for DJs. The sound is great, the belt driven motor doesn't add any noise. It has a built-in phono stage, so it can be connected to any audio input on the receiver or powered speakers. The line option switch on the back allows you to connect an external phono stage. A good ground stud on the back will help set it up. Easy tonearm calibration and disk assembly. The Audio-Technica AT-3600 comes pre-aligned, eliminating the need for protractors unless the…

elegant appearance and clear sound

This is an elegant black piano with a comfortable weight. no noise Completely manual (you have to interact and pick up the needle at the beginning and end). My 30 year old automatic turntable was great but the needle lift mechanism broke and it affected the entire turntable. While I miss the auto return, it's not the end of the world. Shipping took many weeks but the distributor (AudioLab - they were AMAZING) made up for it with direct contact. Also, it was just about the time Covid hit and…
