they don't stay.

Very cheaply made. Thought I'd give it a try as they claim to be "non-slip". Well, no matter how "tight" I had them on my dog's paws, if they didn't come loose, they twisted around and around and around and around (you get the picture). so not worth it at all. The only plus of these boots is that the toe material is much more flexible and soft. I've bought another brand before (they hold up great) but the toe box is just very stiff with no "flex" - so very unnatural to step on (my dog told me)…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

if they could just STAY they would be great.

I have 2 30 lb dogs. I took the small size according to the measurements. The problem is, my hellions have paws that look like dinner plates and knuckles that look like twigs. I can't wrap them around my ankles tight enough to keep them secure. I love them, they work for a short time and they are cute when on. I think if I got them again I would ignore the paw size and take a very small one. Maybe they have tighter ankles? I bought them for street salt in Manhattan so at least I don't have to…

Pros
  • Great design

Dog Slippers to Protect Wooden Floors

I bought the slippers to avoid scratching our new wooden floors. Our dog weighs 55 pounds. Muscles and are sometimes hyperactive. Unfortunately, even with careful manicure, it leaves long slits in our floor from running and sliding. We could only put the front slippers on Cooper because he struggles against the slippers on his back feet. Keeping the slippers in place prevents scratches, but he often takes them off one at a time throughout the day. His dewclaw seems to be right where the…

Glad I ordered these

I originally ordered red but got an email from the company saying they've run out of red. I would take black instead. In these cold winters, these boots are very popular. We adopted my mother's dog when she died and we don't have a fenced yard so we take her for walks. The dog is about 10 years old, and when the temperature dropped below zero, he began to walk on three legs, sometimes sitting or lying down on the street. Our local pet store only had wellies that I bought. Based on the size…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Reasonable but major design flaws

I have a German shepherd who drags his back legs [to the point of "quick" claws] and planned to use them on his back legs while we were on the pool deck. On first use, if I tighten them as tight as I can, they stay put; however, they immediately turned so that he walked on the side of the fabric rather than the "floor". I then sewed velcro to most of the boot, thinking it would help it stay in place. It's not - they're still spinning. Now it has rubbed through the fabric side. I'll need to see…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

These are not the most durable dog boots you can find but are the most comfortable yet for my 55 pound Old English Sheepdog with sensitive paws and claws that wear out quickly. I have tried many other brands and styles and these are the only ones he will wear without constantly trying to take them off. You stay on your feet. I have to adjust them regularly, but not so often that it interferes with our gait. They are not waterproof. I bought a spare pair after walking my dog about 10-15 miles on

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires power outlet
