Fantastic quality video

Installation is so easy, it's up and running in a minute. One button to start and stop recording and the video is ready to use without conversion or other special attention. Everything about this device exceeds my expectations. I am happy with my purchase.

Video quality is good, microphone quality is very poor

If you just need to record video, this works very well. I captured wild gameplay and it looks great. I also captured some footage of Castlevania but for some reason this game had a little problem. I connected an extra splitter to the mic input to record 2 mics, but this unit doesn't seem to be able to record 2 mics at the same time, even with a splitter. I tried using just one mic but it was very quiet and barely audible. I checked the mics and splitter on my computer and they work fine, butโ€ฆ

I will send this back on Monday, it does not work as instructed. I connected it according to the instructions and it doesn't go into record mode

Good choice for the money

Everything is professionally packed. The recorder works as advertised. This is a great option for those of us on a budget. I've recorded dozens of hours of footage in the first month of ownership with no errors. I don't need or use audio connectors, so I can't rate how well they work. Two cons: The editing software that comes with the recorder. clunky and takes some getting used to, but hey, it does basic edits. And the USB port is a little snug.

Ease of use and video/audio quality

I got this to record presentations that I use for class. It was really helpful and was very easy to set up and use. Just plug it in, plug in your USB flash drive or hard drive and press the button to start recording. The recordings are great (in mp4 format) and I didn't notice any lag during recording. Sound is also recorded, or you can hook up a line-in to the device and it will be recorded too. Overall I'm quite happy with it
