I'm a carpenter. I use these pads often. I've lost or stepped on all 20 in a year and a half. I LOVE the orange color, it's easy to see under a dark deck. They are excellent for 2x6 and 5/4x6 decking. The plastic jug they come in is very practical and easy to put back. 5 starts from this experienced carpenter! Just ordered 20 more, can't get enough

I bought a tub with deck spacers because I needed to install 20 foot 2x6s and the wood was quite bent. After installing about 400 feet of boards, I still need to break one of those spacers. They endure a lot of abuse and pressure from the 2x6s trying to climb up. If the spacer gets stuck between the boards due to pressure, I can slip a pry bar under the spacer's flange and remove it without destroying the spacer.

This little thing made my deck swap amazing! I bought them on impulse without really believing I would need them. Wow, I was wrong. I myself installed about 300 square feet of composite decking to replace the rotted boards on the back deck. These little plastic spacers made the work look professional. They stretch very well after the planks are bolted on and the thickness is perfect for the spacing recommended by my deck maker. Take her, you won't regret it.

This made laying the decking much easier. I'm glad I chose the multi-size package because it was convenient to use different sizes to return the floor to its original position at any time. Several times we had to use different sized spacers on the same board to even out the position. First composite deck I made and I expected the boards to be dead straight, but they were inferior to wood so getting everything back in place at any time during the project made the job that much easier.
