Medium size fits perfectly. My dog Shih Tzu Bizzy wasn't thrilled with the costume lol. Maybe the guitar prevented him from going through doors, he didn't like the movement. But it was so sweet to see him dressed for the occasion. Joker neighbors couldn't stop raving and complimenting Bizzy

It was fun and cute for our little chugger. But unfortunately the guitar was WAY too heavy and totally pissed her off just walking. He will only hit their feet or fall to the ground. So unfortunately I had to send it back. It would have been much better if the guitar was made out of a lighter material (possibly cloth).

It's beautiful and if you tie the guitar to one hand it's a little easier to walk in it, but no more than a few feet. We tried to walk through the Halloween parade and he couldn't get past the first house without getting tangled up in it. I bought a separate blue striped wig to make him more of a rock star. The photoshoot was cute, but she definitely couldn't wear it all day.

What a JOKE! I ordered an XL for my 70 lb Doberman and this item probably wouldn't even fit a 2 month old. The entire outfit is 10 inches long from head to toe. WTF? The proportions are crazy. It will never suit any dog other than a Chihuahua or a small breed like them. The guitar is also twice the size of the gear so I wouldn't recommend that. If you have a VERY small dog, just order XL and everything will be fine.

This costume is really cute! However, the largest size is really too small for my dog. His head is so big that it obscures the view of the guitar. He also became annoyed with the guitar and attempted to chew it. I'll try to modify the costume to fit him and also add something to cover his back so he's ready for our next Howl-o-ween costume contest. I hope I can make this because it's cute. It seems to be a good costume for small pets (small dogs or cats!).

I never write reviews but this time I want to express my total dissatisfaction with this product. He first arrived with dark spots all over his body. I ordered a medium size but it's too small. Plus it's so cheaply made I can't believe it's on sale at $17.99. It's not really a costume, just a bit of rest running down the front legs and around the neck. The included guitar is too big and heavy to even walk on. My little Shih Tzu was horrified by this. I want to return it but I need to send it…
