I tried several other preamps, Bellari VP 130, Emotiva Audio XPS-1 and Cambridge Azur 651P. I kept NAD because of my experience with this brand and it sounded better to my ears. I still use the 7225PE receiver I bought over 20 years ago and it has worked great. I had a preamp not long ago but expect the quality and durability to be as good as my receiver. The presence of the power button didn't hurt either.

The NAF PP 2e has done wonders for my vinyl listening pleasure.

I recently bought a Pioneer PLX-500 as I wanted to reacquaint myself with the vinyl collection I had built up years ago. I also wanted to use a player with a Sonos connector connected to my Sonos home theater. -high. This way I wouldn't have to use my audio/video system when listening to recordings and would also have better all-round sound. Before buying the NAD PP 2e I tried two other preamps. The richness and clarity of the player's sound is amazing. I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent phono preamp

Complete phono preamp for poder used in a futuro un fonocaptor moving coil, no embargo on launch probe with actual moving magnet.

Incredible audiophile phono stage at an affordable price!

After using high fidelity digital audio for a few years I decided to scrap my Thorens TD 146 turntable. I have a pair of Martin Logan Scenarios with a 200w BK amplifier and a BK preamp. without a headphone jack, of course (that's when vinyl went out of fashion in the 1990s). I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I knew the cheapness would make me cringe. After doing a lot of online research with many reputable reviewers, I settled on this NAD phono stage. (I was a little jaded as I had an oldโ€ฆ

NAD does it well and cheaply.

Somehow it sounds muffled on my B&O MMC2 module, I even tried it with a new old MMC1, same problem. However, the same two cassettes work great on the MM setting and sound great. The ONLY thing I don't like about this unit is that there is a power button on the front, it's an instant connect button and you press it to draw attention to the circuit and it turns the unit on. It will turn off automatically when there is no signal, but will not turn on automatically. Every time you use your phonoโ€ฆ
