Excellent putty for wall repair

Patching up some of the holes when we removed the old cornices was great. We still have to paint over the putty, but it looks a lot better than the holes.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Too dry and thick.

This product was almost dry and barely leaked from the tube. It doesn't stay in nail holes. Generally I would go with pink putty and a small drywall blade.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy to use, covers nail holes perfectly

I'm not a DIY enthusiast but it was easy to use. I had a few small nail holes and this took care of them. I liked that it comes with a flat edged tube for applying putty.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not easy to use, best for wall repairs

This putty is too thick and dries too quickly making it difficult to remove from the tube and apply. It can be used but is inferior to the putty I have used in the past. The sponge applicator got stuck in the lid so at first I didn't even know it was there, but when I pulled it out it didn't help much. Spreading putty with your finger worked better. If I had anything other than very small nail holes I'm not sure it would be enough for the job.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Transparency

Not the worst, but definitely not the best.

To be honest, white toothpaste is easier to use than this stuff. I'm not saying you SHOULD do this, just that I did when I was a much younger apartment renter on a budget who wanted my security deposit back. I have these goo's to patch up some screw and nail holes in my new home. Sponge tip is useless. I've used other tube applicators in the past that didn't have them and they actually work better. Simply use a damp paper towel to smooth or texture as needed. The color is good, smooth matteโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing
