Super smooth stone. I also have Shapton 12k glass. Both are one-sided sprays. I would definitely buy this again! I don't know what all the negative stuff is about.

Finally, must be used after purchase. Dirt is not permanent. After the first use larger particles appeared which scratched my knife. Now it is past the return period to get a refund. 😓

Only buy this if you are confident in handling stones. My first attempt was, I would say, a waste of time. However, after a few training sessions, there was added sharpness. I start at 800 and end at 10000 (this stone). It's a bit thinner (if you're used to the Chosera series). When I'm done with that, I towel dry it and let it air dry for at least 24 hours before putting it back in the box.
