Be careful with plastic I guess.

I've had it for about three months. Brought him to work to make espresso maybe three times a week. Today I somehow cracked the water tank while reattaching it to the main body of the Nanopresso. Hm. Edit: They sent me a replacement when I applied! So kudos to them. But I dropped the device for easier coffee-making on the go.

Pros
  • Something is
Cons
  • too stupid about it

Ideal for espresso lovers

1. Espresso was perfect! I don't know anything about making espresso, but I order it whenever the opportunity arises. I've been arguing for a long time about which car to buy. Automatic, semi-automatic, manual, but I wasn't sure I could justify the cost. Reviews of all cars under $500 were everywhere. At the moment it seemed like a good compromise. The device pressure is there for what I consider to be a good espresso, there is no learning curve and it is very low maintenance. I will revisit it

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Amazing until it stopped working after 4 months

Stopped working after 4 months! The pump no longer pushes water through the coffee, only around it. The pump now takes a lot of pressure to push and no longer bounces. No change in coffee, grind, etc. No abuse or damage. Just quit your job one day. Checked and cleaned service parts to no avail. However, when he first started working, he made absolutely amazing coffee! The best I've ever cooked at home. The only difference to a real barista in a good coffee shop is that there is a little less…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Was damaged

Warning: You'll have to spend more than the cost of a pump for a grinder that can produce results. I also bought a scale to weigh the beans. With an 8G basket it's basically a single shot, except you can miss a lot more water than even a typical double shot. This can be "lungo" if you pump all the water. I wouldn't pump less water or you end up with a 20ml shot that's way too small to drink. Since I'm pumping all the water at once, I remove some bitterness, but it's still pretty tasty with good

Pros
  • Lasting Test Results
Cons
  • This makes me nervous

Great device in espresso machines

There are several reasons I give it only four stars out of five. First, it is not very simple and easy to use. Second, it requires labor and is not very easy to clean. Third, you need to develop a technique. Fourth, it's bulky and you need to buy a barista kit separately. Fifth, you still need to get a coffee grinder or buy ground coffee. The size of the coffee grounds is important. I wouldn't say regular ground coffee is good enough for an electric coffee maker. Oh, and you still need boiled…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Obsolete model

The idea of going into the wild and then drinking fresh espresso in a completely unknown place sounds great. Making your own fresh, perfect espresso in a crappy hotel that only serves disgusting coffee sounds pretty sweet, too. And this little gadget is fun. All you need besides espresso is a way to boil water. Therefore, any outdoor stove will do, and you can usually get hot water at any hotel that has tea. The actual process of making espresso is not very complicated. You pour hot water into…
