After just 3 months and a bike ride, the weaving is already failing. Pits and broken reeds are everywhere. A big disappointment and we handled it very carefully.

This rattan is very thin and I would be concerned about durability. Also, it has nothing to do with Nantucket, or at least wasn't built there. Built in China. so maybe a good deal at half price?

Mine arrived with a hole in the braided part and I could tell it was very fragile and not holding up well so I'm sending it back. it was better quality

Classic bike basket; For example, problematic colors and sizes are appropriate for many items. However, it doesn't look like it can stay out - other reviews describe a deterioration. If you live in Cali or the Southwest this shouldn't be a problem, otherwise don't leave it out in the cold.

This basket was in poor condition when I received it. The top was frayed and the brass plate on the front was at least 2 inches off center. It looked awful and I had to remove it. Unfortunately I couldn't put it back on because that would have made more holes in the fabric at the front.
