Enhance Your Door Closer with the National Hardware N266-221 V1352 Part Kit in Black Review

Purchased to replace just a door hinge. Unfortunately they are only sold as a set as I only needed one piece but it works great and my door closes again!

What has arrived is metallic silver. Good quality. Much thicker than the predecessor from the box store. 3 stars for the wrong color. Requires painting. Pleased with a solid loop.

I have an Andersen storm door. The bracket is broken. So instead of buying the original part for over $30, I decided to try this part. I am more than satisfied with the quality and thickness of the fittings. Even comes with screws and pins that are stronger than OEM.

First check the existing door hardware. This will not work with Anderson screen doors because the flexing of the hardware attached to the door will prevent the closer from properly attaching to the bracket. Learned this the hard way. If this inner curve was a bit larger, it would fit nicely.

Bought to replace parts that flew out of our storm door. I am very happy with this quality. Very durable. If we have trouble sticking the door again, I'm pretty sure the door frame will snap before those parts. We were very pleased to see that they were available on Amazon and at a great price. Local hardware stores only sold the entire door closer kit.

I bought this to replace the original hardware that came with my storm door plunger. The one that came with the butt was a much softer metal and was actually cracked in half. This gear appears to be much harder metal and even seems to support more weight. It was installed within a month and held tight. By far the best alternative to buying a new door piston. I recommend.
