Doubtful?

I'm afraid to use this so-called food product because of its chemical smell! It's not bees, there's no floral scent, just chemicals, and it smells awful!

Pros
  • ODORLESS: comes from bees that feed mainly on flowers and therefore have a color and natural sweet scent
Cons
  • boring packaging

Useless and strangely colored.

waste of money! I thought I was getting pure beeswax. NO! A strange, unusually colored shade of yellow. I finally bought another product made from real beeswax. Doesn't matter! Buyer warning! I didn't dare to use this strange product. I threw it out!

Pros
  • PURE AND NATURAL: This beeswax is purely natural and food safe, non-irritating to the skin, rest assured to use
Cons
  • . Big and bulky

The organic label is misleading.

Don't get carried away fooled by the organic seal. Beeswax made in the USA cannot be labeled as 'organic'. The "Organic" label is a sure sign that a product is from outside the United States and may contain other contaminants. I wouldn't recommend this for anything that requires "food safe" use and of course the smell is pretty bad. Instead, I would recommend using locally produced beeswax as advertised on the website (honeylakebeecompany.com). Nothing compares to the smell! Would only use this

Pros
  • PERFECT FOR THE BARGAIN: This beeswax has a wonderful smell and texture, ideal for projects such as making handmade soap, lipstick, pretty candles, balm, varnish, cream, crafts etc.
Cons
  • Little little things
