Doesn't work after a few days Sand clogs like wet. There are no visible cracks in the glass. Comes with dehydration package! Could this be the problem?

Very nice product but does not measure the minute. I tried both ways - it was 12 seconds faster in one version and 6 seconds faster in the other.

You cannot claim a "minute" if you are more than 10 seconds late. I would understand 1 or 2 or even 4 or 5 but more than 10. Don't waste your time and money folks.

I was so excited to get this hourglass and loved it for the first 30 or 45 days and suddenly like many reviews I have read the sand stops completely to flow and there is absolutely nothing you can do to move the sand. It's a disappointment but the size was perfect and I loved it while it lasted.

The main thing is that it is very small. I didn't want it to be big but I was still surprised at how tiny it was. The quality seems to be ok. This was a gift for someone who collects hourglasses so the small size was preferred, but it's important to check the measurements if you're expecting something larger than the palm of your hand.

I bought 2 of these at the same time. What a waste of time and money. One of those "1 minute" timers was only 55 seconds, which isn't very accurate for my needs. The other was ONLY 45 SECONDS. What a joke. If you're sending two or more emails to the same person, you might feel like you're trying to make them at least a little similar in performance. You can see different flow rates in less than 5 seconds after spinning. NOT WORTH A PENNY OR YOUR TIME!

The product has sharp edges and metal filings that will scratch your table (and your hands) or whatever you put on it. The cut outs were clearly done hastily and give this piece a very cheap look and feel rather than the finesse and artistic craftsmanship of old naval brass instruments. There's also the occasional side slit, which seems like a design attempt, but then again, they just look cheap and lazy. They do not belong to or relate to the intended maritime theme. I really liked this little timer when I first opened the box and was pleased to find that it worked within 3 seconds which is impressive for an hourglass. However, when it was with me for about a week, the sand suddenly started to stick and stick together as if wet. Confused, I unscrewed the base to see if the glass was cracked and found that although the glass was intact, it was NEVER SEALED.
