Description of ๐ŸŒ BN-220 Dual GPS Glonass Module: Accurate Navigation with Antenna for Arduino Raspberry Pi Pixhawk F3 CC3D Betaflight F4 Flight Control Geekstory

BN-220 has flash to save configuration, so you do not need to reset data next time when you use it. But it has no compass. If you need gps with flash and compass, please buy bn-880 from Geekstory. When you use it for Raspberry Pi, there is no driver needed but you need to install software. The TX LED flash means gps module output normally. The PPS LED flash means gps module locate your place. Data Level : TTL or RS-232,Default TTL level. To make it be RS232 output, you need to use one TTL to RS232 converter cable. The product documentation link cannot be displayed. FAST lock for GPS, finders and accessories

Great little GPS. takes about 2-3 minutes the first time and about 10-15 seconds after that. I have no complaints about this thing at all! This worked great on my Nazgul5 ATV.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Exchange available

It takes a minute to fix but works fine

Put on my Diatone Roma F5 quadcopter. Wrapped in tape for protection. It takes a few minutes to get a GPS lock even if I haven't traveled far. I think that's because I didn't install it in the perfect spot, but it works.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Useless features

Sensitive receiver, I use it on my boat.

I use this on a boat. I used a USB serial module to connect to u-blox's Connect software so I could change the baud rate to 4800 which is the NMEA 0183 standard. I tested it indoors in a location that is difficult for my other GPS receivers and after a few minutes it fixed itself. The boat is much faster to repair. I liked that the kit comes with connectors, otherwise it would be difficult to find them.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Fast satellite acquisition, good accuracy

I use this for the GPS unit in my car which lights up an LED as I approach key landmarks to remind me of things I keep forgetting (eg leaving the dog park). Shown is a prototype I made to test the device as this is my first GPS project. I used Arduino Nano Controller with NeoGPS library. Very easy to set up. My first satellite capture took less than a minute and almost instantly when I'm outside. It even gets a lock on my indoor desk, which was a surprise and helps with development.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • No

Comes with 20cm vinyl wires, it would be nice if they were silicone but that's ok. There is a small sticky pad. The dimensions are perfect for the 3D printer I made to keep on my quadcopter. Flashed and saved (which is not possible with the BN180) the settings via the ublox center to turn off QZSS and turn on Galileo and set the speed to 115k baud. It catches satellites pretty quickly and keeps them really well, which is nice. The firmware I use for my quadcopter, Betaflight, can easily flashโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
