Value Computer and Accessories

I recommend the RX300 as the best option for low-cost VDI deployments. The NComputing RX300 thin client offers a multi-client option (vSpace, RDP, Verde and also has a standalone PC). Deployment can be completed in less than five minutes and take full control of device setup and user session.

Pros
  • For use with NComputing vSpace Pro, VERDE VDI and Microsoft RDS.
Cons
  • Some cons

We bought this to save money on the computer and I had a fairly techy guy who worked on it for almost 25 hours. We trade tickets with their terrible tech support. The label in the box with the device says "DO NOT RETURN THIS ITEM - CONTACT TECHNICAL SUPPORT". So confident are they that you need tech support but the support provided is not working. No phone support, no good reference material, it's just a dull, boring product. They are too busy marketing the product to tell people how to use it.

Pros
  • Compatible with Windows Server 2019, 2016, 2012 and 2008; Microsoft Windows 10, 8.1, 7 SP1.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Buggy Vspace Pro with RX300

We have been NComputing users since 2012. Compared to the L300, the RX-300 supports dual monitors, UXP and RDS connection and is based on a modern hardware platform. The product is good but the VSpace Pro software is buggy. Later we have to switch to the RDS protocol instead of UXP. Because Microsoft Teams client has many UXP issues. Therefore, we are switching to a cheaper RX-RDP. Hence 3 stars for the RX-300.

Pros
  • screen resolution up to 1920x1200 via HDMI. Dual display possible with SDA (separate purchase required).
Cons
  • Hard to say

Extremely efficient and cheaper than towers!

I like this article! We have 1 computer acting as a server. With the RX300 Thin Client I have 3 computer workstations. It's extremely efficient and offers huge savings over three more computers!

Pros
  • NComputing vCAST Web & Media support and Microsoft RemoteFX support for enhanced media.
Cons
  • too stupid
