The key I received is not accurate, it gives an excessive torque value of 10% of full scale. The true torque value of 5 Nm corresponds to 5.5 Nm. This wrench is also very weak, the indicator rod and needle do not maintain a constant height above the scale due to excessive flexing of the instrument. This key is inexpensive, but also cheap in every sense of the word. Returned.

Bought to install a new seal on a Dana 60 front axle.. Do a good job of seeing how the preload was before and after the seal was replaced. It took me a few tries to make sure I was getting the reading. I think it takes practice. As for the beam, mine was zero when I got it. Second, you need multiple adapters of different sizes to connect it to the socket drive. I mean it's 1/4 the disk and I had to reach 1/2 the disk.

Unpacked and inspected the key. Don't really use it to tone up anything, just scroll through it. As soon as I pulled on the handle, it barely started to bend and then immediately broke in two at the weld under the measuring plate. Obviously received a key with a factory wedding. It gets a lot of positive feedback so I hope my experience was just a fluke and I'll swap it out for a second one and will update accordingly. Update: The spare key worked great. So if you lack the smarts you can just keep going, but if you are smart you will use this tool more than anything else. I recommend you don't tighten more than 70% of its capacity or you'll bend it and it's not worth it, but it offers a reading in inches, not feet. Just calculate how to be sensitive with this tool because once it's calibrated then it's useless if you break it so don't make it past 70% of its gauge because after that those numbers start in foot pounds. I used it to install a ring and gear but I also have an old used torque wrench with me Bought the dial off ebay which costs $150 new. I did this in hopes that I could use this new tool to see how accurate the old one is. When comparing, I found the dial type to have much better clarity and consistency between the two directions. I needed to get a measurement between 14 and 19 inch-lbs and found it difficult to know where I was in that range with this torque wrench (for verification purposes)…
