Unless you are mounting the 6" rack on a stand or other hard surface, I caution you against mounting the 6" rack rack to buy. The load of clothing, towels, hanging bags, etc. that you can place on this long rack cannot be carried with a simple mount on 1/2 inch drywall. I bought 4 inch stainless steel rods to hang my pool brush and skimmer on. The appearance of our house is modern, and the traditional pool hooks are not suitable.
