Description of NEOFECT Drop Foot Brace - Adjustable Ankle Brace for Foot Drop, Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis & More (Right) - Breathable Neoprene, Ideal for Stroke, TBI, ALS, MS, Bone Fracture - AFO/ASO

✅Neofect Drop Foot Brace is a soft neoprene ankle and foot brace for those who require additional ankle and foot stability to improve mobility for everyday activities. The brace applies gentle tension to encourage foot dorsiflexion and prevents the foot from inverting during gait. With its ergonomic design, the brace helps individuals walk more naturally by keeping the toes lifted and aligning the ankle. The Neofect drop foot brace works best for those with mild to moderate stability concerns. ✅The usual drop-foot braces are made by solid materials to build up the support function. Based on the expertise of a physical therapist, the Drop Foot Brace is designed to support the ankle and keep the foot dorsiflexed. The main purpose of the brace is to keep the ankle and foot from inverting and dropping. This can be caused by nerve injury, muscle or nerve disorders, brain or spinal cord disorders. ✅Foot drop causes the toes to drag on the ground, creating the need for changes in gait to compensate in order to clear the foot. Different strap tensions are available to increase ankle stability. 3 high tension straps and 1 low tension strap provides appropriate support to improve gait. A foot pad provides support to keep the toes from clawing during walking. ✅The brace is designed to be put on one-handed, so patients who have a stroke or an impaired hand can easily put on the brace. Compared to other foot drop splints, the Neofect Drop Foot brace is made of soft fabric material which is easier to wear and accommodates socks and shoes. Foot drop may be accompanied by numbness according to nerve changes. The Neofect Drop Foot’s open heel design allows for increased sensation and motion during gait and activities of daily living. ✅The brace maintains foot dorsiflexion and prevents the foot from inverting during gait. With its ergonomic design, the brace helps individuals to walk more naturally but assisting with lifting the toes and keeping the ankle in alignment.

Not impressed with braces, splints and supports

This is normal. If you have more than a light foot I wouldn't think this would be for you. It's very uncomfortable in shoes and I wore it in sneakers for maybe 20 minutes and had to take it off but it will be good for the house.

Made as advertised and excellent value for money.

I bought this product to help with a small saggy foot problem due to multiple sclerosis. It worked almost as promised and I was very pleased with its increased mobility and reduced tripping. It will weaken over time and I would recommend tightening it regularly.

Lightweight/flexible/sturdy alternative to LSO

Updated: While the device helps, I have found that the brace causes noticeable ankle/foot compression. This leads to increased diabetic pain. ******* Have been using plastic LSO for a few years now. Heavy and uncomfortable on the calf/heel. This product is comfortable, light and stable. Much better than LSO Great device.

Untenable! Do not do that!

**1 star upgrade**** NOT LONG TERM AT ALL!** It's bursting at the seams in less than four weeks. Literally. *** Works surprisingly well. I had very low expectations as most AFOs just suck, to put it bluntly. I can't drive, I can't move my ankle and so on and so forth. This? Not as much. Draws in in the right places and also makes sense. I. I have no problem with shoes, but everyone is different. Biggest problem: one size fits all. No, that is not so. There are dimensions for that. Not the best…

Finally real ingenuity!

A++ As previous customers have written I have tried several other foot orthoses, hard, soft and custom. It was like nobody could figure out how to make it work. After suffering from drop foot and nerve damage from 2 back surgeries, I can finally say I've come the closest to reclaiming a part of my life. I can walk without much worry about travel or neglect. For those who know how uncomfortable and dangerous it can be. This brace is quite stable and more comfortable than any competitor's product

Soft and very strong velcro

I have MS with a problem with a saggy foot. Unfortunately, my legs regularly have stretch cramps at night. So I got these soft braces to hopefully help with my flexor cramps during the night. These work great. And the material is a bit grippier than socks, making it easy to slip in the middle of the night. Velcro is extreme though! This is the strongest velcro I have ever experienced in my life. That's a pro for sure! Muscle cramps definitely cannot break through this velcro. However, the…

Amazing design and comfort

A year ago I had a severe herniated disc which required surgery between the 3rd and 4th lumbar vertebrae. This is where the nerve that controls the drop foot movement of the right foot is located, so I struggled with foot drop for a long time. After three falls in one week, I decided to check my braces. I got a custom AFO from my podiatrist who rubbed and actually cut my leg so this is unacceptable. I've tried the ones that clip to your shoes and they work well but then you have to wear…
