Fast and reliable Wi-Fi signal, very easy to use. 2 fingers up!

So I had an old laptop that needed help with Wi-Fi and this seemed like a good option. It works great, I don't have to be near the router anymore and it's very easy to use with good instructions. No more buffering, latency or signal loss issues on my computer! Now kids can play the way they want without complaint. I will come back for another if the need arises.

Wi-Fi Extra Boost - great adapter

I was looking for something to speed up my internet. This product makes it easy. At first I had a problem installing drivers because my laptop didn't have a DVD player, but the company was very quick to respond and help me through the installation. Since using the adapter, I've been able to stream all types of media in all rooms with no lag or buffering. I have a lot of devices at home all the time, so this adapter is very useful for boosting my wifi for my laptop.

Useless piece of crap

I got about 26 Comcast Internet Blast download speeds using an old Netgear N router and decided to upgrade to a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. Set everything up on my old laptop (Sony VaioPro running Win 8.1 with Intel a/b/g/n wifi card on board and Nighthawk itself shows a download speed of 130 on my iPhone 11 and a download speed of 85 to Add 100 on a laptop with an integrated card and install NetDyn and voila Speed drops to 55. Total waste of time and money for this part of the upgrade plan.

DO NOT BUY this product! Worst $70 I've ever spent

I bought this device hoping to increase my internet speed as its top speed was around 20Mbps. I was so excited to use this product and to say the least; it has let me down. After receiving the package I MANUALLY downloaded the drivers as it said the OS was not supported. After 20 minutes I was finally able to launch it and connect to Wi-Fi, so I ran an internet speed test on speedtest.net and got this result. Long story short, it didn't suck and it's by far the worst $70 I've ever spent.

Great product for wireless audio receivers and adapters

Works perfectly. This is my second machine. I bought the previous model for an old laptop that couldn't get good wifi speeds because there weren't any updates available for it. This was about 2 years ago and is still valid. I ordered this Wi-Fi adapter hoping to speed up my Wi-Fi network and it has served its purpose. Not for gaming - wireless audio receivers and adapters

This device works very well except for one issue that invalidates my use case. You get the full speed available for AC WiFi. The speed test for my connection also shows everything I pay for. The disqualifying issue is that the adapter resets every 40 seconds. This causes a latency bump of around 250 ms in the game. Resetting leads to packet loss. Losses are constant and regular. The NET-DYN AC1900 USB WiFi Adapter is a great adapter if you want to turn a device (such as a PC) into a wireless device. I use it to turn my desktop pc into a wireless pc as there is no easy way to connect it to my router with an ethernet cable.
